At Chase View Community Primary School, Physical Education is more than just a lesson—it’s an opportunity to develop physical fitness, teamwork, and a love of an active lifestyle. Our PE curriculum encourages every pupil to enjoy being active while promoting health and wellbeing.
Our lessons include a variety of sports and physical activities, from traditional team games like football and netball to individual pursuits such as gymnastics and athletics. We also introduce pupils to less conventional activities, broadening their experiences and interests.
PE is about more than physical skills; it’s about developing resilience, cooperation, and respect for others. We encourage pupils to set personal goals, celebrate achievements, and learn from challenges.
We take advantage of our excellent facilities and outdoor spaces to deliver a well-rounded PE programme. Pupils also have opportunities to participate in local sports competitions and events, fostering a sense of teamwork and community.
By instilling a lifelong love of physical activity, we aim to help our pupils develop healthy habits, self-confidence, and the skills to lead active and balanced lives.
